Hod Hasharon, Israel – February 20, 2018 – Allot Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALLT, TASE: ALLT), a global provider of leading innovative network intelligence and security solutions for service providers worldwide, announced today it has been awarded “best mobile security solution” in the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. The contest was voted by over 400,000 members of the global information security industry.
Allot NetworkSecure (previously named Allot WebSafe Personal), enables Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to offer security as a service to their subscribers, protecting mobile devices from malware and cyber threats, as well as providing parental controls. The network-based security service is already used by over 18 million subscribers in Europe, and CSPs who offer it enjoy significantly increased NPS (Net Promoter Score – a measure of customer satisfaction).
Allot NetworkSecure also allows service providers to engage with subscribers directly about recent threats or security risks, enhancing brand differentiation and providing peace of mind to consumers. As a result, some service providers report upwards of 50 percent penetration, compared to application-based security that is reported to be used by only three to five percent of mobile users.
“Congratulations to Allot for being recognized as the Gold winner in the Mobile Security category of the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Holger Schulze, CEO of Cybersecurity Insiders and founder of the 400,000-member Information Security Community on LinkedIn that organizes the awards program. “With over 400 entries in more than 70 categories, the 2018 awards are highly competitive and all winners truly reflect the very best in today’s cybersecurity industry.”
“We’re honored to have earned a gold medal for the best mobile security solution, and proud to be recognized for bringing service providers and their customers a safe, reliable, and easy-to-use security solution,” said Vered Zur, VP Marketing of Allot Communications. “Allot NetworkSecure is a component of our recently introduced Allot Secure platform, developed to enable service providers to keep both their subscriber and business customers protected against today’s evolving threat landscape.”
Allot will be showcasing a live demonstration of Allot NetworkSecure and additional network-based security solutions at Mobile World Congress 2018, taking place in Barcelona from February 26 through March 1, at its booth in Hall 5 Stand 5G41.
