The service is powered by NetworkSecure, which can be deployed as standalone software or as a virtual network function. When customers opt-in to the service, their traffic is routed through network filters that sit inline. The filters inspect requests and responses and enforce the unique customer policies for both security and parental control. Sitting inline means that there are no blind spots that can be used to bypass the service once it is applied.
