Consumers buy more and more IoT devices like smart cameras, TVs, and fridges, in addition to the “traditional” smartphones, PCs, laptops and tablets that can be found in every household. At the same time, cyber threats on consumers are not only increasing but are also becoming extremely sophisticated. Today, every home is a target, and every home device is vulnerable to cyber-attacks unless proper security measures are put in place. ## Benefits ![Protect your Customers](https://www.allot.com/resources/Benefits_HomeSecure_Benefits_Add-Value-to-your-Customers.svg)Protect your Customers Keep households safe while protecting the router and all connected devices from cyber threats. ![Increase Revenue](https://www.allot.com/resources/Benefits_HomeSecure_Benefits_Increase_Revenue.svg)Increase Revenue Part of Allot’s 360 degree SECaaS offering, zero-touch security solution guarantees high service activation rates. ![Secure the CPE](https://www.allot.com/resources/Benefits_HomeSecure_Benefits_Secure_CPE.svg)Secure the CPE HomeSecure delivers robust security by shielding the CPE from anomalies. Deliver robust security by remotely deploying a thin agent on an existing home-router; no additional hardware required. ## Features Straightforward The solution is designed to be managed by consumers with no IT skills. It provides an intuitive user-centric approach where devices are assigned to users, who automatically inherit the user policy. Robust Security Multiple layers kick in at the click of a button, protecting home devices from the latest Internet threats including different types of malware such as ransomware, trojans, adware, viruses, bots, and others as well as phishing. This is complemented by local network visibility to identify internally weaknesses and unexpected events as well as shielding the router itself from anomalies. Categorization & Fingerprinting A threat and content filtering database is updated 24×7 to accurately identify Internet content, stopping threats and preventing access to certain content (e.g. social networks, pornography, etc) as defined by the parent. Fingerprinting assists in identifying network devices by type, which is complemented with other device information that allows the parent to define the right policy. Negligible CPE footprint The solution is deployed as a lightweight agent that is built to run on low-end and legacy routers. Resource utilization is kept at the bare minimum to provide security retaining a pleasant browsing experience. Multi-tenancy The solution is built from the ground up for service operators, which translates into an incredibly low TCO per subscriber. This allows the solution to be offered at a price any consumer can afford while generating significant and consistent revenue.
