The System Engineer provides direct technical pre-sales and post-sales support for Allot’s potential and existing customers and partners. The System Engineer works closely with the Territory Sales Personnel and other relevant departments to achieve regional support and sales targets.  Occasionally, the System Engineer is required to travel for training or to assist other POCs and implementations within the APAC region.


  • Solution design and specification
  • Presentation to customers and partners
  • Working on tender and RFx responses with the Sales team
  • Planning and executing Proof of Concepts, trials and demos at partner or Allot sites including all relevant documentation (HLD, LLD, SAT, FAT, Staging, etc.)
  • Delivering on-site technical training and product training to partners and customers
  • Performing installations and upgrades
  • Assuming ownership of technical relationships within customers and partners
  • Assisting other Allot functions (TAC, R&D, Etc) with on-site activities as needed
  • Understanding customer challenges and business, and defining appropriate technical solutions using available Allot and partner technologies
  • Promoting and recommending Allot Solutions and technical pre-sales activity from initial contact and meetings through delivery
  • Interfacing with all parts of the Customer Support Organization as well as relevant teams (e.g. Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product Management)


  • At least 3 years’ experience in an international high-tech company
  • Hands-on technical working experience
  • Proven background in Service Provider and Mobile Operator environments
  • CCNA or equivalent
  • CCNP/CCSP or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly technical and experienced with hands-on IP networking including working with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, DPI devices, network management tools, caching etc)
  • Good presentation skills and training experience (advantageous)
  • Able to work remotely and independently, and stay focused while working as part of a spread-out team of technical experts
  • Able to liaise with all customer and partner levels including Senior Management in order to provide solutions and explain technologies.
  • University degree, relevant technical courses
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Able to understand customer requirements in local language and translate into English for internal discussion
  • Willing to travel
