Allot acquires Optenet

Allot Communications and Optenet have joined forces to bring fully “in the cloud” end-user security services to more markets and more people. Allot’s strategic acquisition of Optenet’s operations is now complete, and we have already begun to strengthen our Security as a Service (SECaaS) offering, enabling network operators and enterprises to provide essential and effective Internet security services to their users.

Delivering a safe Internet experience

Allot has been working with Optenet since 2013, enabling mobile ISPs, many of whom are large Tier-1 operators, to provide revenue-generating Parental Control and Anti-Malware services to their customers. As we expand this successful line of Internet Security services, Allot is poised to assist more mobile data customers and their children to browse the Internet safely.

Optenet solutions already protect millions of end users at enterprise organizations around the world. Together with Allot’s Cloud Access Optimization solutions, our new Security as a Service offering will enable enterprises with private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructure to match endpoint security with user and business needs.
