  • Shraga Katz

    Chairman

    Shraga Katz has more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector, 20 years of which have focused on the communications industry.

    In 1996, Katz founded Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT), a global provider of high capacity wireless networking solutions for mobile and fixed operators and private networks, serving as its President and CEO until mid-2005. Prior to founding Ceragon, Katz served in the Israeli Defense Forces for 17 years where he held a number of positions including leading the Electronic Research and Development Department of Israel’s Ministry of Defense. Katz is a two-time winner of the Israel Defense Award, Israel’s most prestigious recognition for research and development. Katz is a Venture Partner at Magma Venture Partners which specializes in early-stage investments in communication, semiconductors, internet and media, and serves on the board of directors of Siverge Networks and Green SQL. He is also a board member of Rhythmia Medical. Katz holds a B.Sc. from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.

  • Rami Hadar

    Director, President & Chief Executive Officer

    Rami Hadar has served as a board director and Allot’s President and CEO since 2006.

    Hadar joined Allot in order to complete the company's transformation to a service provider-focused global business.  For more than 20 years, he has been establishing and leading telecommunications companies and developing global businesses that address the needs of fixed and mobile service providers.  Early in his career Hadar founded and served as CEO of CTP Systems (micro cellular networks) until its acquisition by DSP Communications (NASDAQ: DSPC). Hadar continued with DSPC's executive management team for two years, and subsequently the company was acquired by Intel.  Hadar went on to co-found Ensemble Communications, a pioneer in the broadband wireless space and the WiMax standard, where he served as executive vice president, sales and marketing. Following that, Hadar served as CEO of Native Networks where he was instrumental in successfully shaping the company into a market-driven provider of MPLS based solutions to tier-1 telecoms and in orchestrating the company’s ultimate acquisition by Alcatel.   Hadar holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.
  • Yigal Jacoby

    Director

    Yigal Jacoby co-founded Allot Communications in 1996 and served as both the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors until 2006, when he retired as CEO.  Jacoby continued as Chariman of the Board until November 2008.
    In 1992, Jacoby founded Armon Networking, a manufacturer of RMON-based network management solutions, which was sold to Bay Networks in 1996. Following this acquisition, Jacoby continued on as General Manager of Bay Network’s Network Management Division from 1996-1997.  Prior to this, he held a variety of engineering and marketing management positions at Tekelec, a manufacturer of telecommunication monitoring and diagnostic equipment.  Throughout his career, Jacoby has founded several start-ups in the communications field, serving on their board of directors and taking an active role in guiding the companies.  Jacoby has a B.A. cum laude in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Southern California.
  • Dr. Eyal Kishon

    Director

    Dr. Eyal Kishon has served as a board director since 1998. In 1996 Kishon co-founded Genesis Partners, an Israeli technology-driven venture capital fund, of which he is a Managing Partner.
    Prior to co-founding Genesis Partners, between 1993 to 1996 Kishon was an associate director of the Polaris Fund (now Pitango). Between 1992-1993, Kishon served as CTO of Yozma Venture Capital, a fund established by the Israeli government which played a key role in the establishment of the local VC industry. Before entering this field, Kishon led a team at the IBM Research Center that developed notebook computer handwriting recognition products, and managed a group at AT&T Bell Laboratories’ Robotics Research Department which was granted a patent for signature verification for interactive security systems. Kishon holds a PhD in Computer Science and Robotics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, and a B.A. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.
  • Shai Saul

    Director

    Shai Saul has served as a board director since 2000. Saul is the Founder and General Partner of DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures.
    Shai has spent most of his professional career developing technological ideas into global companies, predominantly in the networking and semiconductors spaces, his primary investment focus areas.  He has played an active role in a number of successful companies including Executive Vice President of Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd., a leading provider of digital security solutions; CEO of cleantech vendor Ganot; and Chairman and interim-CEO for CopperGate, a leading fabless semiconductor company focusing on the in-home entertainment networking market.  Shai currently also sits on the boards of EZchip (NASDAQ ticker: EZCH), a leading provider of Ethernet network processors and SuperFish, a visual search company, among others. Past investments and board positions include CopperGate (acquired by Sigma Designs), Native Networks (acquired by Alcatel), and Wave Systems (NASDAQ ticker: WAVX).  Saul holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University.
  • Nurit Benjamini

    Director

    Nurit Benjamini has served as a board director of Allot since 2007, bringing over 15 years of experience to the position.
    Benjamini currently serves as the CFO of CopperGate Communications Ltd., a leading fabless semiconductor company in home entertainment networking.  Prior to joining CopperGate, between 2000 and 2007, Benjamini served as CFO of Compugen Ltd. (NASDAQ: CGEN), a world leader in the discovery and licensing of product candidates to the drug and diagnostic industry. As CFO, she managed a private placement and the company's IPO in August of 2000. Earlier in her career Benjamini served as CFO at Phone-Or Ltd. and as CFO at Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd.. Nurit holds a B.A. in Economics and Business, and an MBA in Finance, both from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
  • Steven D. Levy

    Director

    Steven Levy was appointed as a board director in 2007. Prior to retiring from Wall Street in September 2005, Levy served as Managing Director and Global Head of Communications Technology Research at Lehman Brothers.
    Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1998 Levy held a number of management positions on Wall Street, including Director of Telecommunications Research at Salomon Brothers, Managing Director and Head of the Communications Research Team at Oppenheimer & Co. and a senior communications analyst at Hambrecht & Quist. Levy currently sits on the board of directors and the audit committees of two other technology companies, publicly held PCTel (NASDAQ: PCTI) a broadband wireless solutions provider, and privately held GENBAND Corporation, a leading developer of next-generation media, session and security gateway solutions. In addition, Levy also served as a director of the publicly held Tut Systems from October 2005 until its acquisition by Motorola in March 2007, and of Zhone Technologies (NASDAQ: ZHNE) until February 2010. Levy has a B.Sc. in Materials Engineering and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
